» Court Documents » Press Releases » Notice To Class » Register Here » Legal Team » FAQ » Contact Us Canada Pension Plan Contact Us CLASS MEMBERS MUST NOW APPLY FOR THEIR SURVIVOR'S PENSIONS The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that all Class Members are entitled to make a claim for their Survivor's Pension and receive their ongoing Survivor's Pension including arrears to at least December 2000. In order to receive these payments ALL Class Members must ensure that they have applied for their Survivor's Pension. To receive an application for your Survivor's Pension or for further information please contact Sean Grayson at REO at tel: 416-362-1989 or e-mail: smg@reolaw.ca. Class Members may also contact Service Canada directly to receive an application for their Survivor's Pension (in Canada 1-800-311-3820 or outside of Canada 1-613-990-2244). Register as a Class Member Prior to the Supreme Court's ruling individuals were registering with our firm. If you still wish to register as a Class Member with our firm you may do so, however, it is imperative that you apply for your Survivor's Pension as well. In order to register please contact Sean Grayson at the number below. Please Note: You should be aware that you do not and did not need to register with our firm to become a Class Member. If you fit the definition of Class Membership set out in the Official Notice to the Class you will automatically be included in the Class unless you decided that you did not want to be part of the Class by opting out of the action. The time for opting out of the action expired on July 31, 2003. Registering as a Class Member will enable us to keep you updated on the progress of the case as we move forward into the administration of the action. Leave to Appeal Granted in CIBC Overtime Case In reasons released on January 21, 2011, the Court of Appeal for Ontario granted Dara Fresco leave to appeal from the decision denying the certification of her claim as a class proceeding.
